This place is great and I love the calm ambiance there. The staffs here are great. Chris is friendly and hospitable. I like requesting Jessica because she is good at what she does(15 years of experience). I would recommend doing the 1 hour full body massage. Message to prospects and current clients: please tip the staffs well because you are getting great customer service and quality massage.

What an amazing experience my husband and I did a couples massage with Chris and Jessica my husband did deep tissue and Jessica really worked out those knots he feels so lose and has less back pain! I did a soft touch with Chris who was wonderful right amount pressure respectful and worked into my tissue without pain we will return!

I found this place on Google & decided to give it a shot based on all of the great reviews, but unfortunately I’m very disappointed with my experience.

Customer service experience:
I booked online for the 17th at 10am. I got an email from the manager (I think) asking if I was coming in for my appointment “today” on the 16th. I messaged him back confirming my appointment was booked on the 17th with a screenshot of my confirmation email. Not a big deal, misunderstandings happen. However I get to V&M for my appointment on the 17th at 9:45am, and the place is closed. Confused & concerned, as the signage says they open at 9:30am, I call the business number just to be sure all is well. I believe it was the manager I spoke to & he advised Jessica would be in at around 9:55am. Okay, that’s cool- life happens & we run late sometimes. However from a business perspective, these two incidents put together is just not a good look. Miscommunications about booking paired with the business not being open and ready for an appointment that was booked days in advance didn’t leave me with confidence in their business operations.

Nonetheless, I was there & Jessica had arrived so I decided to go through with the service. Now, onto-

The massage:
I came in for some muscle relief after a business trip that left me with some strain on my lower back that was also causing pain on my left hip & leg. So I figured this is something I could communicate once we get started. But once I walked in, I was rushed into the room without much of a conversation or concern for my needs and we just got to it. It seemed that Jessica was in a rush after coming in late and having to set up. I did tell her throughout the massage that it was my left lower side that was the issue. I also mentioned a knot in my left shoulder that hurt so bad I felt it in my shoulders & chest. But she spent more time focused everywhere else other than what I had told her.

Pressure wise, she did a good job communicating with me and applying the right pressure, but that’s the only good thing I have to say about the massage.

I sincerely hate to say it, but it was one of the worst massages I’ve gotten. I’ve gotten many massages in the past and this one was just ROUGH. Jessica’s movement was aggressive & she kept scratching me with her nails, even after I politely said spoke up about it. The stones and towel were too hot, and there was no warning about the transition from her hands to the heat. She ran the stones over my back fast and rough, it was quite uncomfortable. Overall, the experience felt very rushed and not very attentive.

The icing on the cake to this experience is when going to pay, I adjusted the tip amount to $15 as I just didn’t feel like Jessica provided service worth the industry standard tip. (20% would have been $22) She watched me as I put it in & proceeded to try and argue with me about it. She wasn’t super aggressive, but she did try to tell me how much I should be tipping her. I read the manager’s comments responding to other customer reviews about tipping and I’m not convinced that this was a one off “suggestion” or “miscommunication” as the manager has previously mentioned in his replies. Again, not a good look for a business.

All-in-all, I’m not satisfied having paid for the service I received. I left still feeling some of the soreness that I came in for in the first place and simply disappointed in the entire experience. I don’t believe I’ll be coming back or recommending this business to others.

V&M Massage was a wonderful experience. It was recommended by someone and I made an appointment and was greeted promptly. The facility is clean and welcoming. It was one of the best deep tissue massages I have ever had. The kneading of the muscles in my neck, shoulders and back were perfect. Thank you!

Went in with a golf ball knot in my back. I opted for the 2-hour massage as I really needed relief. The skilled therapist dug in. She used techniques that balanced both sides of my back, resulting in greatly reduced tension and stress. I didn’t expect the rock hard knot to be gone in one session but I left without the knot and the pain. The environment was very relaxing and I was quite comfortable. I will be back, before I get to that stage again. I highly recommend V&M for anyone who needs muscle relief or just wants an overall relaxation experience. Thank You!
