It's absolutely one of the best pizzas in Lubbock, Texas. My wife and I will be eating there often. The calzones were out of this world, and the pepperoni pizza is the best I've ever tasted bar none!

10/22/2024: Since I can't post a new review I just wanted to say thank you to Jerry and this establishment for making our barbeque pizza the way that we like it. I was reluctant because we haven't been there in a few months. Since Papa V's is literealy walking distance from my house and it was the perfect weather I still wasn't able to make it there. Also wasn't sure if you guys would remember me and my two sons. But I coudldn't ask for a tastier and well put together pizza. I'm also very happy that door dash delivered our pizza to the right address. That was my biggest concern.

After seeing so many awesome reviews my family and I decided to see what the food was like at this establishment. I ordered the taco caliente pizza. We also ordered the meat combination, bruschetta, house chicken salad that the owner fixed himself, cannolis, and fries! I haven't even tried the pizza yet. I could not get past the bruschetta. But by the way my boys dove into the pizza I knew it was perfection. The crust was just how we liked it and not overcooked, the sizing, and portions went way past my expectations. The atmosphere was inviting and the staff and service was welcoming and friendly. So if you're looking for a new place that blows pizza hut and dominoes out of the water, stop by papa v's. You won't be sorry.

This place as always is the BEST pizza anywhere. Homemade dough and fresh ingredients. Jerry is just the funniest and such a great host. Always come to your table and spends a minute or two talking about his passion. ( Food and his children and pizza dough). Lol
Place was clean and staff was friendly. Love this place for pizzas and calzones. So fun.
Oh gosh plus did you no he has a room in the back that holds at least 25 and he does not charge extra for the room does come have your party there. It's decorated in the New York style garden party amazing.

What can I say PAPA VVVVV ? The Pizza, chicken Alfredo, and hot wings are like a flavor explosion in your mouth! The pizza is always so cheesy and satisfying, the chicken Alfredo is creamy and comforting, and don't even get me started on those hot wings – they're spicy perfection! Whether you're in the mood for some classic pizza, indulging in rich and creamy chicken Alfredo, or craving some fiery hot wings, these dishes never disappoint. It's a trio of deliciousness that always hits the spot!

The young lady at front was unfriendly she brought my salad out with her thumb stuck completely in it, brought us plates with her dirty finger prints from being in other peoples food I guess. She did offer to bring more plates but we just dealt. But when the pizza came it made up for the downfalls. Very good. The crust is amazing. Plenty of toppings. Price of the pizza was 22 but after a large and two drinks came up to 35 so I guess they charge quite a bit on drinks. The owner I assume the Italian dude extremely nice visits with everyone. I enjoyed being there. The resturant is nice. Its nice to sit down and enjoy a pizza. Only downside is the young girl that has a bad habit of sticking her fingers in the food and not welcoming at all. Maybe it was just a bad night. Definitely will be back regardless.

bang! the only place in lubbock you can get real pizza, real authentic, with real ingredients. everywhere is a disasterclass of slop, grease and dough. this place is absolute class!

Wife and I had a great experience at this restaurant. Plenty of seating around 6:30 on a Saturday. We had the Luca-roni with sausage added to half. For two people we should have got the medium. The cheese bread was great. Ranch was great and so was the marinara. Wife said the salad was so so. We will definitely be returning.

First time here. My father told me about it after searching for pizza one night. We decided to come by and check and it and it did not disappoint. This was hands down the best pizza I have had in years. This is a must stop or order delivery for the family. I doubt I'll go anywhere else after coming here. Best Pizza in lubbock!
