Dr. Nitesh Patel is the most professional and compassionate doctor I know. When I come to see him, it is like I'm seeing a friend who really cares. He surrounds himself by an equally important staff. I had direct contact with a nurse practitioner prior to and after my procedure. If I had any questions or concerns, they were answered them that same day which took away any stress. The care I got at Jersey Shore University Medical Center was the absolute best as well.

Dr. Patel gave us comfort, assurance and hope during a very frightening time and I could not be more thankful that he and his team performed emergency craniotomy surgery on my husband. The results were even better than expected and he’s continued to be a source of knowledge and support for him for almost two years. Trust me, my husband is not an easy patient and has many, many questions that were always quickly answered. If you, a family member or friend are ever in a position where you need a neurosurgeon, Dr. Patel has our full trust and is just a genuinely amazing person.

A brain tumor diagnosis is a nightmare. I am thankful that I ended up at JSMC with Dr Patel. He explained , with honesty and incredible compassion, my situation. He took as much time as needed to talk with me and my family without once rushing us or making us feel like we were asking too many questions. For the rest of my life I will remember Dr. Patel. The incredible kindness he has displayed for my mom during her scariest moments will never be forgotten. My mom has had two brain surgeries in the past 6 months. Dr. Patel is expecting a baby any day yet he has shown up for mom during his PTO because he knows my moms brain. There are some wonderful people in the world, but Dr. Patel is in the 1%. Thank you, Dr. Patel. You are one of a kind.

Dr. Patel performed an amazing job on my sister’s cranioplasty surgery in October. Her confidence has shot through the roof since the surgery which has helped her recovery tremendously. When other neurosurgeons said no due to my sisters circumstances Dr. Patel said yes and we will forever be grateful for him, Ashley, Andrea and the rest of their team. We can’t thank Dr. Patel enough for his amazing bedside manners, his patience and his thoroughness when it came time to explaining everything to us and his determination to help. We would definitely recommend him to anyone who is in need of an amazing neurosurgeon. 10 out of 10 recommend!

Dr. Patel is an amazing doc. He makes sure you understand everything he says and was easy to talk to. He listened to my husband when he talked and even his staff were so helpful. I would recommend him to anyone 100%. You would definitely be in good hands with him!
