Because I didn't want to jeopardize my fitness and extremely active lifestyle, I put off the procedure for years. It's been almost two years since the replacement, and I couldn't be happier. Dr. Ronald Hudanich is a superior doctor and surgeon. He strives for excellence and keeps himself up to date with all relative procedures and techniques. He has been my orthopedist for nearly ten years. He has replaced both my knees, monitored my hip and shoulder, and saved my leg and potentially my life by his quick and thorough response (on the weekend) to an infection I developed in my hardware (related to my compromised immune system and not to my knee replacement surgery four years earlier). My father who is 85 years old was in terrible pain from his hip. He couldn’t move without it causing horrible pain. Doctor Hudanich was recommended to us and now I know why! My dad’s situation was complicated because of his heart but Hudanich was willing to talk to the cardiologist and figure out how to do the surgery with minimal risks. I was totally amazed at the recovery after my dad’s hip replacement. He felt 100% better right away! I didn’t expect this at his age. The small incision healed quickly and he could walk right after the surgery without restrictions. The method Hudanich uses to do the surgery makes the surgery time fast which minimizes risks and makes for speedy recovery. 5 weeks ago I received a total R. hip replacement after 2 years of bone on bone. I am totally pleased with how the surgery went and how I can walk without any pain in the hip.

After the surgery I only had to use Tylenol for a few days as the pain was surprisingly light. No need for opiates in my case.

Dr. Hudanich's frontal approach and small incision that did not cut any muscle or tendons and his computerized robotic arm assisted technique apparently made for a perf fit.

I strongly recommend this superb surgery team for hip replacement.

My husband Thomas had a knee replacement 4 weeks ago. When asked at today's post op check , if need be, would he have Dr. Hudanich operate on the other knee?
