Be aware... he does not check his patient's chart when he changes their medication. It caused my mother to have all kinds of issues. Him as a doctor should know better! She has now switched to a different cardiologist.

My father visited Dr. Popat this week and had a dangerously low heart rate. Dr. Popat and his team were incredible sending him to the ER with a script and coming every day to check on my father first thing in the morning. My father was apprehensive seeing a new doctor after the passing of Hal Applebaum but Dr. Popat was caring, aggressive, personable and punctual. After just moving to the area I scheduled my own appointment to see Dr. Popat and appreciate the top notch care he provided my father.

Adam and Dr Popat take excellent care of my cardiovascular needs. They both took great, thorough care of me at St. Joseph's, and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. My cholesterol is being managed very well by Adam and I like how he takes time to listen to my concerns and answer my questions. I am following Dr Popat's suggestions for my diet, which has helped in my weight loss. The staff is very efficient and friendly.

Popat has been my go-to Cardiologist for almost 4 years now.
No other cardiologist took my concerns seriously. After complaining to my PCP about how several Cardiologists kept shrugging at my concerns (saying I was "too young" or "too skinny" to have any cardiac issues) she referred me to Popat and told me I was in good hands. He was the only one who pushed for me to get an echogram done and was the first person to diagnose me with my congenital heart issue. Now, I see him once - twice a year to check in and make sure everything looks good!

He also successfully fixed some leg pains I was getting from venous insufficiency. I've been almost a year post op and my pains been completely fixed after just one ablation session with him.

Dr Popat has a great approach on educating his patients thoroughly on the important of lifestyle and nutrition in regards to heart health, which is exactly what I really was looking for in a cardiologist at my age. He really takes the time to listen to me, which I am grateful for. I highly recommend this cardiologist and his awesome team to everyone.
