La V Vietnamese Fusion is what happens when culinary art meets absolute flavor genius. This place is like a global food passport wrapped up in a Vietnamese love letter, and I’m not even exaggerating.

Let’s start with the Char Siu Banh Mi. First bite, and I’m suddenly questioning why I’ve ever eaten a regular sandwich in my life. The pork was tender, the bread was the perfect level of crispy, and the pickled veggies added the right tang. Honestly, I’m considering naming my firstborn “Banh Mi” in honor of this masterpiece.

Then, there’s the Da Nang Style Noodle Soup. This bowl of heaven is packed with noodles, shrimp, pork, and so much flavor, it practically transported me to a street food stall in Vietnam. I don’t know who Da Nang is, but I want to send them a thank-you card.

The menu itself is like a choose-your-own-adventure novel for food lovers. Do you go for the Sizzling Korean Ribs that come out so hot you half expect a fire alarm to go off? Or do you dive into the Iron Pot and marvel at the shrimp, chicken, and mushrooms that seem to have been blessed by the flavor gods? It’s the kind of menu that makes you want to order everything, and honestly, I might next time.

The vibe is modern yet cozy, with a side of "I might be too basic for this level of sophistication." But Lauren, our server, was a superstar who made the whole experience feel effortless.

If you’re in St. Pete and haven’t been to La V yet, you’re doing life wrong. This place isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a food experience that’ll haunt your taste buds until you come back. I’ve already started planning my next visit—and yes, I’m ordering the Fusion Fried Rice because why not?

My cousin and I stopped this place after the beach super hungry.
My cousin had ordered the bun Bo hue,
It was fatty, spicy, and the flavor was exceptional and authentic, veggies were soooo fresh. Overall, you can taste how well stewed the broth was. My cousin and I really enjoyed it.
I ended ordering later with the server an app and some pho
The banh xeo was flavorful and hit the spot. Maybe the wrap was a little too crispy for my taste, it was good but it was hard to keep chewing. The veggies again, were soooooo fresh.
I was a little disappointed with the pho broth however, tasted very lean.
Service was good, slightly spotty around lunch time but overall good place to introduce someone to Vietnamese cuisine.

Incredible Vietnamese spot in downtown St. Petersburg. Last page of the menu has the fusion cuisine. I had the bun cha. It was perfection. We had the soft pillows for an appetizer. Those were perfect too. Boba tea, the whole 9. Happy we stopped in here! Thank you!!

Absolutely delicious food. I'm a Vietnamese American born in Little Saigon, viet food mecca in California and this food was some of the best I've had. Fresh ingredients. Wonderful flavors that would make my mom and dad proud. The beef short rib was tender and perfectly marinated. I love that they had this dish with the vermicelli noodles. It's what my dad used to make all the time. Not pictured were the fresh salad rolls or goi cuon. Very delicious peanut sauce. Although I wish they used more herbs in the dish, it was still some of the best we've had and we ordered 2 more orders to-go. The banh mi was the perfect ratio of veggies and the specialty meats were like the best dac biet cuts I've ever had. Highly recommend.

This Vietnamese restaurant in Downtown St. Pete was so chic inside and had great service! We were greeted right away for lunch ? They have several gluten free options for celiac! It was delicious food and it was ready rather fast! Would definitely go back to try a pho beef broth next time!

I had the Saigon Udon, and my friend had the Mekong Delta. The food was delicious but not as spicy as I had hoped it would be. They did have a caddy with chili oil, hoisen sauce, and other things to add to your dish. The chili oil was spicy enough. I wish they had taken the time to tell us what all was on the caddy.the Mekong Delt came with a fish paste sauce that none of the Waite staff knew what it was. I also ordered a side of kimchi that I never received but was also not charged for. I will definitely be going back to this spot.
